Termly Classes

We are thrilled to welcome you to our termly classes, designed to suit everyone from complete beginners to more experienced potters! Each course is led by a friendly and experienced tutor who’s here to share their knowledge with you. You'll find our class sizes are cozy, ensuring that you receive lots of individual attention to help you thrive. If you're an adult aged 16 or over, you're more than welcome to join us! Just a quick note for our younger learners aged 16 to 18: you’ll need to have a parent or guardian with you.  We can't wait to see you there and embark on this exciting journey together!

Adult Pottery Classes for Beginners

3 hours sessions for 6 weeks

Come and join our lovely 6-week Pottery Course for Beginners! We’ve crafted these small-group classes with you in mind, making them perfect for those just starting out. Over the course of six weeks, you’ll find yourself building confidence as you explore both wheel throwing and handbuilding techniques, all while creating your very own unique ceramic masterpieces. 

 

Each session lasts 3 hours and is packed with hands-on fun, where you'll work with two different types of clay. Don’t worry if you're uncertain about turning and glazing—we’re here to help you every step of the way to bring your creations to life.

 

With our small class sizes, you’re guaranteed plenty of personal attention, and we make sure each session aligns with your own goals and interests. 

 

Classes are held on the same day and time each week, but if life gets in the way and you miss a session, no problem! You can easily catch up on a different day. 

 

Join us every Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 12:30 or afternoons from 1pm to 4pm. There are still some spots available in a few classes!

Children Pottery Classes

2 hours sessions for 6 weeks

Join us for a delightful adventure in pottery, where you'll learn hand-building techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab building! You’ll have the chance to choose your very own project, putting all that creativity to work. To help inspire you, we’ve got a lovely array of templates, pictures, and books on hand to guide your selection. Plus, you won’t be alone on this journey; our friendly and experienced teacher will be there to support you every step of the way, ensuring you achieve wonderful results. By the end of the course, you'll walk away with a charming selection of ceramic pieces, ready to show off at home! We’d love for your child to join in on this creative experience. 

 

This course is based on demand, so if you’re interested in securing a spot during the week from 5pm to 7pm, please do drop us an email to get your child on our waiting list.

Self-Led Pottery Time

3 hours sessions 

Are you eager to sharpen your throwing skills or dive into your own handbuilding project? We’ve got just the thing for you! Our lovely 6-week course is designed with your creativity in mind. You can book 3-hour self-led sessions in a block and enjoy the lovely freedom to explore your ideas at your own pace. No worries, our friendly team will always be around to lend a hand with materials, tools, and expert guidance whenever you fancy a bit of advice!

 

Classes run weekly on the same day and time, but if life gets in the way and you miss a session, we’d be more than happy to help you catch up so you don’t feel left out. 

 

Here’s when our sessions are available: 

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 

  • in the mornings from 9:30 to 12:30
  • afternoons from 1pm to 4pm, and 
  • evenings from 5pm to 8pm

Price-wise, it’s £250 for all 6 sessions, which works out to just £42 each session. We can't wait to see what you create!
