Pottery Classes
We are thrilled to welcome you to our termly classes, designed to suit everyone from complete beginners to more experienced potters! Each course is led by a friendly and experienced tutor who’s here to share their knowledge with you. You'll find our class sizes are cozy, ensuring that you receive lots of individual attention to help you thrive. If you're an adult aged 16 or over, you're more than welcome to join us! Just a quick note for our younger learners aged 12 to 18: you’ll need to have a participating, paying parent or guardian with you. We can't wait to see you there and embark on this exciting journey together!
Over the course of the term, you’ll find yourself building confidence as you explore both wheel throwing and handbuilding techniques, all while creating your very own unique ceramic masterpieces.
Each session lasts 3 hours and is packed with hands-on fun, where you'll work with two different types of clay. Don’t worry if you're uncertain about turning and glazing—we’re here to help you every step of the way to bring your creations to life.
Classes are held on the same day and time each week, but if life gets in the way and you miss a session, no problem! You can easily catch up on a different day.

We also offer the option to book a private 6-week pottery course for groups of 4 to 8 people, ideal for friends, family, or small groups who would like to learn together in a more personalised setting.
These courses follow the same structure as our regular classes, covering a range of techniques including handbuilding, wheel throwing, and glazing, while allowing you the flexibility to work on your own projects.
