Group Pottery Experience

Ceramic Painting - 1.5 hours workshop
Get creative whilst having fun with your friends in the cosiness of our countryside studio. Choose from a wide range of ready-to-paint ceramics and over 30 different glazes and create your very own piece of ceramic art.
Price: £30pp - this includes all materials, glazing, firing costs, and one piece of ceramic of your choice.
Minimum 6 people.
Maximum 12 people.
Make a Mug - 2 hours workshop
So rewarding to drink your tea or sip your coffee from your very own handmade mug! Come and make your own mug using hand-building techniques whilst having fun with your friends and colleagues. You will be welcomed with nibbles and drinks and after a short demonstration from our teacher, you can delve right into creating your own ceramic art. You can apply some underglaze and decorate your mug on the day or choose from our glazes and we will apply it once it went through its first firing. These sessions last 2.5 hours.
Price: £65pp - includes all materials, use of tools, glazing, firing costs, drinks and nibbles.
Minimum 4 people.
Maximum 12 people.
Pottery Wheel - 3 hours workshop
The mesmerising spinning motion of the wheel creates a rhythmic, meditative experience that many people get hooked on as soon they tried it once. Do you have at least 3 friends and colleagues to share this experience with? You will be welcomed with drinks and nibbles and after watching a short demonstration from our teacher, let the clay transform under your hands. These sessions are two and a half hours long and you will be supported throughout to make your own little pots.
Price: £85pp - for a group booking of 4 to 6 people - this includes all tools, material and equipment, glaze and firings, drinks and nibbles.
Minimum 4 and Maximum 6 people.
Handbuilding and Potter's Wheel - 3 hours workshop
Have a go at trying your hand at the beautiful art of ceramic making. The session is 3 hours long and is split into two parts. You will be experimenting with making a mug using the hand-building technique first. The second half of the session will start with a short demonstration from your teacher and then you will dive in making little pots on the potter’s wheel. At the end of the session you can choose a maximum of 2 pieces you have made that will be collected at a later date, after they have been glazed and fired by us. Usually within 4 weeks time.

*Suitable for adults and children aged 8 and over when accompanied by a paying, participating adult. Minimum 4 and Maximum 6 people.
